Today we drove to South Toledo Bend State Park near Anacoco, La to meet with friends at the annual Spring Fling Get Together.  After setting up we sat outside and talked to friends.

We went for a walk around camp.  Then we sat outside and talked to our friends.

4/26/2019

We went for a hike with some of our friends to where an old eagle's nest used to be.  In the evening we had gumbo that was cooked by Jerry and Bob.  Everyone brought pot luck dishes.  At night we sat around a fire at Kieth and Beverly's site.

We went for a hike with friends to the visitor center and then we hiked to the end of the spit for a view of the lake.

4/28/2019

We left South Toledo Bend State Park and drove to the Sandy Creek Campground on B. A. Steinhagen Lake.  We spent one night here on the way home.

4/29/2019

We hooked up and left for home.  Two of our friends from the Toledo Bend gathering pulled into camp as we were leaving.
